Sir Francis Bacon Award
In 2006 the Pennsylvania Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee honored me with its annual Sir Francis Bacon Dispute Resolution Award. The award recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact in bringing mediation and other forms of dispute resolution to the commonwealth.
In nominating me, Jim Rosenstein wrote, “It seems as if Ed has served on almost every committee, been active in almost every movement and been in the middle of almost every important discussion involving Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) since he received his mediation training in 1982, Thanks to dedicated people like him, the field of ADR has grown and continues to grow.”
Thank you, Jim, and thank you to the committee. I strongly support all the winners since then.
